Annabel Pope studied at Cambridge Arts and Sciences Tutorial and received 'Art Student of the Year' award. Travelling has always been a great passion for Annabel and a major influence in her choice of subject matter. She spent considerable time working in Kenya and Zambia and also visiting Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia. This passion for Africa is captured in her use of expressive line, colour and sensitivity and has provided the inspiration for these paintings.
