Whoever you are and whether you are at home or work; in school or college, you can help raise valuable
funds to support us in our efforts to protect and conserve endangered species in regions across the world.
Please contact us to discuss all kinds of ideas. In the meantime, here are a few suggestions: sponsored
swims or knitting sessions or hair cuts! Mountain or hill climbing, masked balls, dinner dances, karaoke
evenings, quiz nights or cake and sweet sales.
We also have several organised events, including fun runs and marathons as well as the opportunity to take
to the skies:

2008 Flora London Marathon |
Andy Buswell, Leanne Davies, Martin Henderson, Tristan Reid and Hattie Thorne have all signed up to run in the 2008 London Marathon on behalf of Friends
of Conservation. We wish them all the very best in their endeavours. To sponsor our brave runners, please donate via our Just Giving page by clicking on
the logo below.
If you applied to run and didn't get in, or fancy the challenge for next year, then please contact the FOC office to see about getting a place in the 2009
Marathon. Barely a third of the 100,000+ people who apply to run in the London Marathon each year are successful in securing themselves a place. Friends of
Conservation however, have a number of guaranteed places and are always looking for enthusiatic people to fill them.
