Classic Journeys have teamed up with
Friends of Conservation as we are committed to responsible and sensitive tourism which
improves the welfare of communities and protects wildlife and their environment.
Originating as a Himalayan trekking company, Ann Brooks and Noel Walshe founded Classic Nepal in 1985. In 1998 we changed the name to Classic Journeys and have developed into one of the most respected adventure travel companies in the business. Our reputation is based on our experience in the field, the quality of our service, excellent value for money, our responsible tourism philosophies and our friendly and expert group leaders. |

Not only do we believe that we have a responsibility to our clients but
also to the local people we employ and the environment and wildlife in the areas we are
travelling through. We operate our tours in an environmentally positive way and always
aim to give something in return for the way in which we are received. |
